Currently offered welding classes are listed below:

MIG and TIG Welding for Aluminum 103A

Deadline to Register: January 13, 2017

Class Schedule: January 27 – March 16, Monday through Thursdays 5pm-10pm

This course is designed for individuals seeking to gain the welding skills required for production or industrial MIG and TIG welding for aluminum.

Current welders who take this course significantly advance their skill level and get AWS certified. Meanwhile, individuals newly entering the field get the training and experience needed to start a rewarding career.

An AWS Certified Welding Instructor provides students with classroom support and hands-on training. This well-rounded approach facilitates students’ mastering of real world MIG and TIG welding skills. In addition, the instructor includes lectures, demonstrations, and printed materials to increase students’ foundational knowledge.

Overall, students learn to safely use GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) machines on aluminum products to create quality welds.


Please note that funding through Michigan Works! is available to those who qualify.
