The WTEC Difference

WTEC was Born from Industry Need

In the Spring of 2008, Fab Masters Company, Inc. in Marcellus, Michigan had just finished building a 31,000 square foot addition to their manufacturing facility. While this addition was intended to house a new aluminum welding shop, Fab Masters struggled to find enough proficient welders.

Due to experiencing firsthand the industry-wide shortage of skilled welders, Fab Masters President & CEO Ron Troxell decided to start his own training program.

WTEC is Not Your Typical Welding Program

This is a very focused program designed with extensive hands-on training, as well as classroom support and supplemental materials to develop foundational knowledge. WTEC prepares workers to exceed industry expectations.
